To make the water colours, here's what you will need:
1 teaspoon of water
1/2 teaspoon Glycerin
2 table spoons of baking soda
1 table spoon of white or cider vinegar
2 drops of food colouring
1 table spoon of corn starch
Here's what you do:
Stir in the vinegar and soda into a little bowl. Once the soda stops frothing, add in the corn starch and glycerin. Whilst continually stirring, add water a little at a time until the right consistency is reached.
You should have about a quarter of a cup. Divide it into three or four parts and add a drop of food colour to each part. You can have red, green, blue or even yellow.
Now use up some of that paper you were going to recycle, brushes and have fun with the kids.
